Anesi is a UK-based investment firm focused on acquisitions in sectors including wealth management and financial advisory. Deal origination requires identifying target companies, gathering ownership and financial data, sourcing decision-maker contacts, and tracking recent activity — all before any outreach begins.
The team's sourcing process was spread across multiple disconnected platforms. Each new sector search required manual work in Inven for company lists, Pomanda for financials, LinkedIn and Kaspr for contacts, and Google for recent news. Results lived in separate tabs and spreadsheets. This created:

A custom web application was built to consolidate the entire sourcing and qualification workflow into one platform. The interface mirrors familiar tools while connecting directly to the firm's data subscriptions. The system connects Inven, Pomanda, Kaspr, Tavily, and HubSpot.
How it Works
- User enters search criteria — sector, headquarters, employee count, ownership type, revenue range
- Inven API generates a company list matching the filters
- Each company is enriched with Pomanda data: ownership, revenue projections, financial year end
- Key decision-makers are identified and contact details pulled from Kaspr
- Recent company activity is retrieved via intelligent web search
- Results display in a structured table with all data consolidated
- User reviews and selects companies to approve
- Approved leads push directly to HubSpot with proper field mapping
- All searches are saved with custom naming for future reference
